Teen shot in the leg in Lancaster

LANCASTER — Police are  investigating an incident in which an 18-year-old man was shot on the front porch of a home Sunday.

The shooting happened around 8:20 p.m. on South Gregory Street.

Police say the victim was sitting on the porch of the home when two men he knew walked toward him.  One of the suspects, also an 18-year-old Lancaster man fired numerous shots at the victim with a handgun striking him once in the leg.

The victim ran inside the house and called 911.  He was taken to Springs Memorial Hospital with a non-life threatening injury.
