Tuesday deadline for House District 21 candidates

Tuesday at noon is the deadline for candidates to file for the House District 21 seat that become vacant in the recent death of State Representative Bill Wylie of Simpsonville. A special primary election will be held next month. Conway Belangia is the director of elections for Greenville county.

Primary will be October 12th. If necessary, the run-off will be October 26. If we have a run-off on October 26, that will push the election for House District 21 to December 14.

So far, three Republicans and no Democrats have filed.
