Piedmont Medical Center celebrates 30th anniversary
Thirty years ago Tuesday, York General Hospital relocated to Rock Hill and became Piedmont Medical Center.
Piedmont is celebrated the three decades of service Tuesday afternoon. The Hospital’s Chief Executive Officer Bill Masterton told a crowded Women’s Center auditorium that Piedmont has grown from 52 physicians to 355 — and now has about 1,600 total employees.
