[/media-credit]Fifty needy families in York found themselves a full Thanksgiving meal Tuesday as officers with the York Police Department spent the morning giving back to residents who needed the help.
York Police Chief Andy Robinson says that thanks to grants from a number of local businesses, the number of families receiving help this year grew to 50 from 31 last year.

Robinson said each family was carefully screened to prevent “double dipping” from other food services.
