[/media-credit]After a week long saga of closed meetings, appeals and questions on eligibility, Goose Creek finds itself back in the 4A football playoffs Friday night hosting Bluffton.
Goose Creek officials discovered Monday an ineligible player was dressed on the field for last week’s win over Conway. School officials self-reported the player and were denied an appeal this week from the high school league.
Friday morning, a Berkeley County Circuit Court Judge Roger Young issued a temporary restraining order against the league, in effect letting Goose Creek take the field for Friday’s game.
