[/media-credit]The U.S. Youth Soccer National Championships being played at Rock Hill’s Manchester Meadows is just over a week away. The games start July 25th and continue through July 29th. Rock Hill Tourism Division Supervisor Mark Sexton says $150,000 was the goal set for raising money to host the championships.
Sexton urges local fans to watch the games, which will be free to the public. He says the tournament is drawing dozens of teams with males and females between the ages of 14 and 19.

Sexton says there will be a lunch banquet on the 24th at the Charlotte Convention Center, during which the city of Rock Hill will be feeding 2200 to 2300 people. Sexton says more volunteers are needed, and interested people can go to cityofrockhill.com for more information.
