York MLK parade has been postponed to next week due to weather; Plus , update to other events happening this weekend

The longest running Martin Luther King Jr. parade in South Carolina is being postponed. The 44th annual event hosted by the Western York County branch of the NAACP has moved from this Saturday to next Saturday the 25th. Orangizers say its due to there being a 70% chance of rain and a high of 51. It will start at East Madison Street and go down to Jefferson Field. As for the rest of the events happening celebrating MLK, this weekend, Chester will have its annual Parade Sunday at 3pm, Lancaster will have their celebration Saturday afternoon at 3pm and then Monday, it will be the Interfairth Prayer Breakfast at First Baptist Church in Rock Hill.
