York School District had a bomb threat on Thursday

A school in the city of York was evacuated Thursday after someone found a note in a bathroom claiming there was a bomb in the building. It happened at York Intermediate School on Johnson road when a student found the note just before 11 AM in the girls bathroom. York officials posted updates on social media as law enforcement from York Police responded and student were taken to York Comprehensive High by bus so they could be picked up by parents. No one was hurt and the students were transported safely. Police stayed at the school through the afternoon and per officials everything was all clear.
