The Chester County Sheriff’s Office new K9 made his first narcotics seizure. This morning just before 10 AM, Sheriff’s Deputies initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle near Hudson Street and Gadsden Street in Chester. The driver was identified as Bradford Earl Cook, who had a suspended license. K9 officer Sammie did an open-air sniff during the stop and was alerted to narcotics which prompted a search. They seized 23 grams of meth, 12 grams of fentanyl, and firearms including 10 rounds of ammunition. Cook is currently detained in the Detention center. This marks K9 Sammie’s first narcotics seizure since joining the Chester County Sheriff’s Office
