Pathways Community Center and other non-profits are banning together and looking for volunteers to help with cleanup. This is the release sent late Monday night.

 

Housing Development Corporation:
-We have about 20 properties on a list so far that are in need of debris cleanup and limbs
cut up & taken to the curb. Ryan Powell is coordinating that for us

Bethelwoods Camp and Conference Center:
-Non-profit summer camp and retreat center in York. We sustained many downed trees
that we could use help cutting/removing from paths and yards at the camp, as well as a
lot of leaves and general debrief on paths and roofs of buildings that will need to be
raked/ leaf blown.

Habitat for Humanity of York County:
-Volunteer Needs: Debris removal and meal preparation/distribution, potential emergency
response home repairs; volunteers will need to provide their own lunches and drinks;
9:30AM starting time on Wednesday, meeting location TBD

Victory Gardens International:
-Serving Hot Meals
-For those on the southside of Rock Hill without power effected by the recent storm.
Victorygardensinternational will offer a FREE Hot & Healthy Farm-to-Table meal and
other resources on Tuesday April 23, 2024 | 5pm at FARMacy Community Farmstop 641
Crawford Road Rock Hill, SC 29730. Volunteers Needed!! (4PM). ***Items Needed***
Ice, Water, Baby wipes, Coolers!! Please contact us for those who are unable to pick-up
due disabilities, sick and shut-in.
Dorothy Day Soup Kitchen:
-just wanted to let you know that we are still without power at the soup kitchen but
handed out peanut butter and jelly sandwich bags today. Please let the day center know
that we will make Chick-fil-a chicken sandwiches to hand out tomorrow even if we don’t
have power restored.
