Former South Carolina Nikki Haley is getting a big boost from donors to keep her long-shot presidential bid alive. Haley’s campaign hauled in 16-point-five million dollars in January, including nearly 12-million from grassroots supporters. The campaign also added more than 69-thousand new donors last month. The former U.N. ambassador has vowed to stay in the race to clinch the Republican presidential nomination from Donald Trump. But she’s made little progress in closing the gap with the former president in public polling ahead of the key primary in her home state of South Carolina. The South Carolina primary is set for February 24th.
