Another presidential candidate will be at Winthrop tonight

Marianne Williamson will make a campaign stop at Winthrop University tonight as she pursues a 2nd run for the Democratic nomination for president…The free event will last from 6 to 8 p.m. in Dina’s Place, DiGiorgio Campus Center. Williamson last appeared at Winthrop in October 2019. She dropped out of the presidential race on Jan. 10, 2020, before any of the caucus or primaries were held…The Texas spiritualist is running again because she sees young people getting out of college and unable to afford a living.
