Yet another record for COVID cases in South Carolina. The Palmetto State reported over 19,000 cases of the coronavirus along with 34 deaths with topples the previous record of 16,000 earlier this week. Just over 4,000 of the cases today were listed as probable. Since the start of the new year there has been a massive surge in cases is coinciding with the long wait times at COVID testing sites. 31% of the tests came back positive.
