The Central Childhood Development center within the Rock Hill schools has earned accreditation from the National Association for the Education of Young Children. The organization is the world’s largest organization working on behalf of young children. Central Child Development Center and its 4K satellite classroom currently serve more than 200 pre-K students. To earn this accreditation the CCDC went thru extensive self studies and quality improvement process to verify and ensure that the program met the standards of the criteria.
More than 6,000 programs are currently accredited by NAEYC
— less than 10 percent of all childcare centers, preschools, and kindergartens nationally achieve this
recognition.
