The state board of education approved virtual learning plans for 33 school districts for the 2021-22 school year. Included in those are the Lancaster County School District and all four York County Districts. So Parents wanting to remain virtual for the upcoming year will have that opportunity with E-learning plans. The State board will decide on plans for more districts later next month. The districts who have had plans approved had to meet requirements including all courses taught by a certified teacher, a quarter of instruction must be live online, along with frequent ongoing monitoring to verify participation from students.
