Piedmont Medical Center to offer COVID-19 testing
Piedmont Medical Center will be providing drive thru COVID-19 testing this Friday from 10 am to 3 pm. Testing will be conducted at no cost to participants and takes approximately 10-15 minutes per vehicle.
In order to be tested, participants must remain in their vehicles and be at least 16 years of age. A registered nurse will collect the specimen and prepare it for shipment to SC DHEC.
Participants will receive a call from SC DHEC with their results within 2-3 business days. Tests are limited to two per vehicle. No appointment is needed and participants will be tested on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.
