Co-founder of Norman Hege Jewelers passes away
93-year-old Kathleen Woodie Hege passed away on Sunday peacefully in her sleep at White Oak Manor. She was known to all as Kathern she and her husband co-founded Norman Hege Jewelers and operated the business for over 70 years with her husband.
She was a resident of Rock Hill of 1951 and an active member at Oakland Baptist Church in Rock Hill. Surviving are her children, Steve and his wife, Linda of Pickens, SC, Linda and her husband, John Gordon and Mike and his wife, Pam, all of Rock Hill; seven grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and her sister, Jackie Furr of Concord, NC.
The family will receive friends from 6:30 pm-8:00 pm on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC.
A graveside service will be held at 11am on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at Grandview Memorial Park on Cherry Road.
