46-year-old Debra Giles told police she was making her daily deliveries on foot when she approached a house with a pit bull in an outdoor kennel.

Giles told WRHI Tuesday afternoon when she walked up to the mailbox, a man inside the kennel with the dog said opened the gate, letting the dog free.
