Lancaster County Schools will be closed on Friday 9/14

Rock Hill Schools closed for Friday 9/14

Westminster Catawba Christian School closed Friday 9/14

Winthrop University has cancelled class for Friday 9/14 and Monday 9/17

York School District 1 closed Friday 9/14

York Technical College (all locations) will be closed Friday, September 14 and Saturday, September 15.

Cancelled/Postponed Events

The Arts Council’s Art on Tap has been postponed to Friday, September 28th at 3PM.

Visit York County Annual Tourism Meeting has been postponed until September 27th 5:30pm-7:00pm at the Anne Springs Close Greenway Dairy Barn.

Palmetto Women’s Center “Color Me For Life” run originally scheduled for Saturday, September 15th has been postponed until October 6th.

Closed Rock Hill locations

River Park:  Park will be closed; this includes all trails and the kayak/canoe launch.

Riverwalk:  Kayak/Canoe launch, the Piedmont Medical Center Trail along the river, and access to mountain bike trails will be closed.

Trail Access from Red River Road:  Trailhead, parking lot, restrooms at Red River Road near the Norfolk Southern railroad trestle will be closed.

All City of Rock Hill Parks, Recreation and Tourism (PRT) programs and events will be cancelled, and all PRT facilities will be closed beginning at noon on Fri., Sept. 14, 2018 until further notice.

Boyd Hill Recreation Center will be utilized as a shelter.

Rock Hill City Hall offices are operating on a normal schedule.
