Second person arrested in Adnah Church Road homicide investigation

According to the York County Sheriff’s Office a second person has been arrested in the Adnah Church Road Homicide Investigation.  19-year-old Robert Evans Outen has been charged with murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

The Sheriff’s Offie yesterday identified the victim in the shooting investigation  as 23 year old Mardarius Bailey. He was a resident of Lancaster.

York County Detectives arrested 19-year-old Tyler Wayne Montgomery in connection with yesterday’s homicide investigation off Adnah Church Road in Rock Hill.

Detectives are still investigating information about a second suspect possibly involved in that shooting. Tuesday at 4:45 PM, YCSO Deputies were called to the intersection of Highway 5 and Adnah Church Road after a South Carolina Highway Patrol discovered 23-year-old victim in need of a medical assistance from an apparent gunshot wound.

Immediately, Deputies began searching for two possible suspects from witnesses accounts. The Sheriff’s K-9 Unit and State Law Enforcement Division (SLED) Helicopter assisted in the search.
