The 26th annual Great American Cleanup is taking place the entire month of March in York County.  Area leaders recently gathered at the Rock Hill City Council Room to promote the cleanup.

As growth continues to come to the area, the need for infrastructure improvements grows. Among the many plans on the agenda for the coming years is the expansion of Highway 21 and the bridge crossing over the Catawba. Business Rock Hill updates the details on the project.

Since May of 2008, students at Winthrop University have had a new option when looking for housing.  Walk2Campus properties currently owns 33 homes near Winthrop.

While the economy is still sluggish at best, Rock Hill has been welcoming the news of expanding business and new business.  Carolina Ingredients started operation in York County in December with an over four million dollar investment.  The company does plan on hiring in the coming days.
