Seth Zamek is the Owner/Executive Director of Senior Helpers, a home (health) care organization located in York County, South Carolina.
Seth has extensive experience in the healthcare field, as a hospital and medical practice administrator, and partner in a healthcare consulting firm. Over 24 years, Seth has held positions for a number of healthcare organizations, including Manager of Managed Care, Director of Strategic Planning, and Vice President of Business Development. Seth earned a Masters degree in Healthcare Administration from Georgia State University in Atlanta, GA. He is a licensed Emergency Medical Technician (EMT). Seth has served on many boards, councils, and committees during his career.
Zamek currently serves on the South Carolina Alzheimer’s Association State Board of Directors, Individuals Caring for the Elderly Committee, United Way Allocation Committee, Catawba Region Education Advisory Council, York County Regional Chamber of Commerce Small Business Advisory Council and is Chairman for the Rock Hill Area Alzheimer’s Memory Walk.
Seth and his wife Jennie, started Senior Helpers in 2008, in large part after personal Caregiving experiences with Jennie’s father, who had ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease), and her mother, who had cancer. The Zamek’s saw first hand that there was a need for the types of services provided by Senior Helpers and the difference those services can make in the lives of the elderly and their families.
