An automatic pay raise for County staff approved in 2011 also included an automatic increase for County council members. More recently, discussion has come up questioning whether or not the council members should get a pay increase. On 02/18/2013, it came up once again. Attached is bulk audio of the discussion.
On 02/18/2013, York County Council members debated an ordinance to make Easter Monday a paid county holiday. While the first reading was approved by title only, council members sent the item to committee to further debate. Attached is the full audio of the discussion.
