
Andrew Kiel joined the Our Three Sons Broadcasting family in 2006 and is the afternoon news anchor/reporter for WRHI and Interstate 107. In his time with the company, he’s also been the co-host of Palmetto Mornings with Sheila Caldwell and has previously been the morning news anchor for both stations. Kiel moved to afternoons in October 2011 and is responsible for covering afternoon and evening meetings and events for the news department.
In addition to his on air, news and production duties, Kiel is the fill-in host for the public affairs program Straight Talk. He maintains the infrastructure behind WRHI and Interstate 107′s web presences, handles Information Technology needs, minor engineering issues and covers news in the community.
Andrew’s previous work in radio includes on air duties at WXLY-FM, WALC-FM and WRFQ-FM in Charleston and the morning news anchor/reporter at WRHI and Interstate 107.
A native of Mount Pleasant, S.C., Kiel is a Winthrop University graduate with a degree in Integrated Marketing Communication.While at Winthrop, Andrew managed the student radio station for several years, at the same time working part-time for Our Three Sons Broadcasting.

Maggie
Andrew is a recipient of the South Carolina Broadcasters Association’s Award of Merit for Excellence in News Reporting. He was also awarded Our Three Sons Broadcasting’s “Most Important Key Employee” award for his outstanding service to WRHI and Interstate 107.
In his spare time, you’ll find him exploring the back roads of South Carolina (likely with his dog Maggie in tow), making good use of of the pool with his friends, and visiting one new local restaurant each week. Andrew attends Elevation Church in Rock Hill and is an alumnus of Pi Kappa Phi, where he was a founding father of his chapter at Winthrop.
