NAB CRYSTAL RADIO AWARD PRESENTED TO WRHI-AM

In April 2011, WRHI-AM was awarded the National Association of Broadcasters’ Crystal Radio Award.   Since 1987, the NAB Crystal Radio Awards have recognized radio stations for their outstanding year-round commitment to community service.   WRHI was one of ten winners chosen among 50 finalists.

65 years of giving consumers the very best in programming and giving its advertisers the most for their advertising dollars has earned WRHI the highest respect and recognition from its broadcast peers. Over the past decade, WRHI has received 59 “Awards of Excellence” from the South Carolina Broadcasters Association. These coveted awards are the state’s highest broadcast honors and recognize WRHI as one of America’s great radio stations.
