Winner of Radio & Television News Directors' Association of the Carolinas "Best News Block" Award - 2006
With Jay Taylor Marc Hanna Teri Miller with Traffic
For sixty-three years, The Morning Show has been starting the day of York County community residents with the latest in news, sports, traffic and current weather conditions, plus keeping them up to date on the latest "hot-button" topics. Our commitment to excellence was recently recognized by the News Director's Association of the Carolinas as The Morning Show has been honored as having the "Best News Block of the Year" for 2006.
Even though our pledge to you is the very best in information that's important to you, we're not above poking fun at the people, events and news we come across on our break-of-the-day journey. Join Jay Taylor, Marc Hanna, Jerry Peterson--York County's only resident meteorologist--with the weather and Metro Source's Teri Miller with traffic, every weekday morning from 5:30 to 10:00 am.
Feel free to write us with your comments, suggestions and criticisms... morningshow@wrhi.com ===================================================== 3/21/08 We recently had the privilege of interviewing two soldiers currently serving our country. General James Huggins with the 3rd Infantry Division... and Lieutenant Colonel Randy Martin, a Rock Hill native. They are currently stationed in Iraq, and relayed their experiences with us.
