SC-DHEC this afternoon updated their criteria for tracking and reported cases of COVID-19 to make sure the virus is uniformly reported across the country.
A positive antibody result no longer classifies an individual as a probable case and a positive antigen test from a respiratory specimen does classify as a probable case.
525 new cases of COVID-19 were also announced. York County had 27 cases, Lancaster County had 19 and Chester County had 3. 5,357 people were tested for the virus on Sunday and 9.8% tested positive.
7 additional confirmed deaths were also announced. The death total is now 2,922.
