SC-DHEC announces new COVID-19 cases in York County schools

There are new cases of the coronavirus in York County Schools. SC-DHEC’s twice weekly report announced that student cases at Clover High School are at 8. Oakridge Elementary has less than 5 student cases.

In the Rock Hill School District, both India Hook Elementary and Sullivan Middle School have less than 5 student cases while Mount Holly Elementary has less than 5 faculty cases.

In the Fort Mill School District, Dob’y Bridge and Fort Mill Elementary along with Fort Mill High School have less than 5 student cases. Pleasant Knoll Elementary has less than 5 faculty cases

York School District 1 has no positive cases

SC-DHEC also announced 701 new cases of the coronavirus. York County had 45 cases, Lancaster County had 23 and Chester County had 3. 4,465 people were tested for the virus on Monday and 15.7% tested positive.

22 additional confirmed deaths were also announced. They include an elderly Lancaster County individual. The death total is now 2,943.
