Carolina Renaissance Festival Canceled Due To COVID-19
The annual Carolina Renaissance Festival has cancelled its 2020 event due to concerns related to the COVID-19 Coronavirus Pandemic. Festival Producer Jeffrey Siegel said that the decision was made for the safety of guests and participants. He also noted that the event will return in 2021. The festival is a seasonal event that normally takes place in the fall and attracts over 200,000 tourists to the Charlotte Metro area each year.
