Police have taken Ramon Hope, 40, of Rock Hill into custody after they say he barricaded himself inside a Rock Hill home Tuesday morning. Police had a portion of East Black Street street blocked as they surrounded a house with Hope barricaded inside. Officers responded to the home on East Black Street around 8 a.m. Police say they received a call from a woman on East Black Street on Monday about a case of domestic violence. They returned to the home Tuesday morning to serve warrants against Hope. The Rock Hill SWAT Team, Bomb Squad, and Crisis Negotiation Team responded to the scene and successfully negotiated Hope’s arrest. No one else was in home during the incident.
