New York Times article suggests Mulvaney could be interested in USC Presidential opening

According to a New York Times article as recently as last year acting White House Chief of Staff Mick Mulvaney had explored the possibility of becoming the President of the University of South Carolina.

Late last year The former South Carolina Congressman had a discussion with a Senior official about the position, which will become open this summer.

According to the article, as of last week, a person close to Mulvaney said he was still interested in the Presidency position.  A White House spokesman however said that is not the case and Mulvaney is faithfully executing the job the President has asked him to do and is not interested in other positions.
