United Way holiday partners announced

United Way of York County’s Holiday partners Program partnering with WRHI’s Toy’s for Happiness Program and the Herald’s Empty Stocking Fund announced yesterday that they will begin taking applications for Holiday Assistance.

The applications will be taken at the City of Rock Hill Housing and Neighborhood Services and the Charlotte Avenue YMCA in Rock Hill.

The York location is the Parenting Partnerships Family Resource Center.  Applicants must live in York County and  be the parent or legal guardian of an eligible child.

Ages of children must be between birth and 14 years old.  A photo ID and proof of income are required for the applicant as well as a birth certificate for each eligible child or a DSS family printout.

For additional information call 803-980-TOYS.  Toys for all ages and $10 gift cards are greatly needed. Last year over 1,800 local children received gifts through this community supported effort.
