According to published reports three Winthrop basketball players have been cited for possession of marijuana by county and state drug agents after police executed a search warrant of their off campus home.

22 year old Adam Pickett, 21 year old Joshua Ferguson and 22 year old Nycholas Smith were charged last Wednesday with possession of marijuana at their home on Cedar Street.

Ferguson and Smith were each found with one gram and Pickett with half a gram.  None of the three were taken into custody, but they will appear in court.
