The City of Rock Hill Electric Utilities Department has received the highest RP3 Designation from the American Public Power Association. The City earned the Diamond level designation for providing reliable and safe electric service.
Manager of Distribution Operations at Santee Cooper and Chair of the Association’s Review Panel Neil James presented the designations on April 30th during their annual Engineering and Operations Technical Conference in Raleigh, NC.
The RP3 program has recognized the nation’s top public utilities with Gold, Platinum and Diamond awards for proficiency in reliability, safety, workforce development and system improvement.
Mike Jolly, Director of Electric Utilities of City of Rock Hill said the designation is a great honor and they take a lot of pride in the work they do to be a quality public power partner in the Rock Hill community.
