Man who ambushed York County officers pleads guilty

Christian McCall, who is charged with the murder of York Co Sheriff’s deputy Mike Doty and injuring 3 other police officers will get life in prison with no chance at parole.

In addition to the life sentence for the murder of Doty, The plea deal also states  that McCall will serve 5 years for the 3 charges of possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

He will also serve 3o years for the 3 counts of attempted murder, to be served consecutively.  Solicitor Kevin Bracket, Sheriff Kevin Tolson, and the attorneys for McCall have all agreed to the terms, which means McCall will avoid the death penalty.
