Dr. Sheila Quinn has been named as the new Schools Superintendent for the Clover School District. Quinn was chosen to the position in a board meeting yesterday.
She has served as the Deputy State Superintendent for Innovation and Effectiveness at the SC State Department of Education since 2015. Quinn described yesterday as a dream come true.
Prior to going to the State Department, she served as the Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Administrative Services in the Clover School District for five years. She also spent 4 plus years in the Rock Hill School District.
She will start at her new position on July 1st, but will be working alongside Dr. Marc Sosne until the official start date to ensure a smooth transition.
