Rock Hill City Elections: FINAL Numbers

After months of campaigning, the Rock Hill Mayoral race will last two more weeks.  York County Councilman, William “Bump” Roddey and local attorney, John Gettys, are headed to a run-off on October 31st.  Roddey received 3,986 votes compared to 3,952 for Gettys.  Duane Christopher finished in 3rd place with 890 votes.

In City Council Ward 5: Challenger Nikita Jackson finished with 792 votes, compared to 601 for incumbent Ann Williamson.  Brandon Smith finished 3rd with 396.  Jackson and Williamson will now face off in the Oct. 31st run-off.

City Council Ward 6 saw Councilman Jim Reno fight off a hard challenge from newcomer Barrett Maners.  Reno received 573 votes, while Maners garnered 527.

John Black won re-election in Ward 4 as he received 1,772 votes in the unopposed election.

The City of Rock Hill run-off will be October 31st.  Polls will open at 7a and close at 7p.  WRHI will have complete coverage starting at 7p.
