The Fort Mill School District has partnered with the Town of Fort Mill and the YMCA to create a new aquatics and recreation facility in Fort Mill.

Leroy Springs & Co., Inc. (LSC) will donate the Leroy Springs Complex and certain adjacent land, valued at over $10.3 million, for this combined project.

The Town of Fort Mill will receive the current Leroy Springs Complex and the Fort Mill School District will receive a portion of the land located at the complex to build the new aquatics center on the site.

The district will use the bond funds to add a 50 meter competition pool area to the current complex.  Transference of the facility will occur as early as June 1, 2018.

Engineering and planning for all projects are to begin immediately. The new aquatics center addition to the facility is scheduled to open in the fall of 2019.
