Today’s signing of the ceremonial last beam in the Lash Group’s five-story headquarters being built at Fort Mill’s Kingsley Park is being called an important milestone.

Fort Mill Mayor Danny Funderburk says Lash is a premier patient support services firm that will be a tremendous addition to Fort Mill.

“With the development of this 250,000 square foot national headquarters campus,” Funderburk said, “The Lash Group is projecting in partnership with Childress Klein and the Springs Company, an initial investment of approximately $57.3 million.”

“Perhaps more importantly,” he added, “with the development of this facility the Lash Group projects the creation of 1200 jobs.”

Funderburk says a second facility could be built that would create 1000 more jobs.

Completion of the headquarters is almost a year away.

Lash Group President Tracy Foster says it’s an exciting time to be in the ever-changing fast-paced health care field.
