Volunteers help provide meals to the hungry on Thanksgiving for the 43rd year
More than a half dozen OTS Media management and staff members joined a couple of hundred volunteers at Rawlinson Road Baptist Church Thursday to help provide a Thanksgiving meal to the needy.
Dr. Ronal King with Feed The Hungry estimates that more than 37-hundred meals were prepared and delivered in York County.
King says it was a concerted effort.
“It’s an outward expression of an inward commitment,” King said.
“They see that others need help, and they sacrifice their time to give us the best that they have,” King added.
This was the 43rd year Feed The Hungry made sure as many people as possible were able to enjoy a Thanksgiving meal.
