TV station tip leads to arrests of meth suspects in Chester

Chester police are crediting a viewer tip to Channel 9 that resulted in a meth lab bust Thursday.

Eyewitness News received a tip from a resident who said there was a potential active meth lab on Gregg Avenue.

Channel 9 alerted Chester police, who showed up at the residence and found meth lab paraphernalia along with two people inside the house.

Chester police arrested 23-year-old Charles Lanier and 31-year-old Victoria Boulware and charged them with attempt and conspiracy, and attempt to possess a controlled substance.

A drug clean-up company from Columbia was called in to clear the residence of all meth materials.

Lanier and Boulware were sent to the Chester County Detention Center.
