Police are investigating after a man was shot multiple times overnight in Chester.
Officers found 39-year-old Robert Williams Junior in his car along the railroad tracks on Lancaster Street near Clack’s convenience store around 1:30 a.m.
A news release from Chester police says because there are three different crime scenes, chief Andre Williams has activated the State Law Enforcement Division, the York County Sheriff Office’s K-9 unit and the Chester County Sheriff’s Office.
Police said Williams was shot three times.
Paramedics took Williams first to Chester Regional Hospital, then he was transported to a Charlotte hospital, where he is in critical condition.
