U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina is calling on the Senate Armed Services Committee and the panel’s ranking Democrat requesting an immediate hearing on the highly-publicized prisoner exchange.

Graham says the Obama Administration is delusional if it believes it did not negotiate with terrorists, explaining to WRHI Monday that the release of U.S. Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl and the release of five high-ranking Taliban prisoners has profound policy implications.

“Have we set ourselves up for more captures in the future? Have we incentivized terrorist to capture Americans to get their people released,” Graham asked.

Graham says the Taliban prisoners are what he calls the “starting five” or the hardest of the hard core leaders.

He says he fears the prisoner exchange will lead to more Americans being kidnapped and held hostage across the world.
