Rock Hill’s own Jadeveon Clowney was on prime time television Thursday night on NBC’s “Tonight Show” with Jimmy Fallon.

Clowney spent nearly five minutes on air with Fallon, explaining his plans to buy his mother a new house.

Clowney is expected to be picked #1 in tonight’s NFL draft. There will be a community draft party at South Pointe High School Tonight starting at 7 p.m. 4-Time South Carolina Statewide Sportscaster of the Year, WRHI’s Chris Miller, will lead a panel discussion about the success of football in this community.

The panel will included Hall of Fame coach Jimmy Wallace, South Pointe head coach Strait Herron, and OTS Sports Wall of Fame Broadcaster Gene Knight.

At 8 p.m., the NFL draft will be projected on multiple big screens set up in the South Pointe cafeteria.
