South Pointe High has four more sign scholarships

Rock Hill’s third and newest high school continues to make a name for itself by sending 4 more students to college on athletic/academic scholarships. During a signing at the school, South Pointe High announced that the following 4 students will play college sports.

Evan Sherer (daughter of Todd and Sue Sherer)
Will play volleyball at Lander University
2013-2014 Highlights: First team all region, offensive player of the year, blue flame all tournament, hillcrest invitational all tournament, 2012 coaches award, Led team in Aces and Blocks, was also named all region in softball

Shelly Restificar (daughter of Rene and Teresita Restificar)
Will play soccer at Brenau University
2013-2014 Highlights: 60 career starts, 62 goals and 21 assists, offensive captain, all region, all state nominee

Hannah Huskey (daughter of Chris and Lisa Huskey)
Will run track at North Greenville College
2013-2014 Highlights: 2 year member of the track team, tied school record in the pole vault at 9 feet.

Tyreece Brice (son of Tim and Jocelyn Brice)
Will play basketball at USC-Aiken
2013-2014 Highlights: 17ppg, 6apg, 2014 Region player of the year, All Region in 2010, 2012, 2013, North South Team 2014, MVP of North team, 2014 All-state
