Man being held on nearly $31,000 bond for series of burglaries

York County Sheriff’s office detectives have arrested a Clover man in connection with about a half dozen burglaries.

Twenty-year-old Thomas Bridges faces eleven charges including grand larceny, second-degree burglary and petty larceny.

Bridges is suspected of breaking into at least six homes in the Lake Wylie and River Hills communities dating back to last year.

The sheriff’s office says the value of the items stolen is about $95,ooo.

Bridges’ bond has been set at just under $31,000 for the time being.

More charges may be added.
