A 25-year-old Rock Hill man is being held on $100,000 bond in connection with the death of his infant daughter.
Quentin Evans is charged with homicide by child abuse in the death of Kaidence Evans.
Rock Hill police spokesman Mark Bollinger says an autopsy found major injuries to the young child.
“This baby was only seven months old,” Bollinger said.
“She had bruising, a broken collarbone, and they found some other internal injuries.”
So it was evident and apparent that this baby had been abused.”
A police report says the baby had apparently been shaken violently.
Quentin Evans was taking care of the child.
