At approximately 2 p.m. Friday, officers say an adult male victim was shot multiple times at 1167 Cedar Grove Lane by three men.

Rock Hill Police spokesman Mark Bollinger said the three suspects fled the scene in a blue Mercury Mountaineer SUV. The vehicle was later recovered at a home off Sirrine Street an hour later, but the two suspects remain at large.

Detectives have also located a White Kia that also may be involved abandoned in the Calvary Baptist Church parking lot on N. Jones Avenue in Rock Hill.

Both vehicles have been towed for processing by the Forensics Unit.

The identity of the victim has not been released pending notification of his family.

Sullivan Middle School, which is just across Cherry Road from Cedar Grove Lane, was briefly put on lockdown. Bollinger said the lockdown was lifted after investigators confirmed the suspects fled the area.
