Lancaster County drug agents sized more than $25,000 worth of marijuana, guns and cash Thursday in a drug bust that landed two people behind bars.

Mynone Blair, 36, and Sharmeka Gaston, 29, both of Lancaster are both charged with trafficking marijuana. Investigators were looking for Blair on an outstanding arrest warrant for possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and discovered the drugs and cash at her home off Spirit Road in Heath Springs and at Gaston’s house off Pacer Drive in Lancaster.

In total, drug agents seized 26 lbs. of marijuana worth $25,000, drug paraphernalia, a large amount of cash and a handgun.

Gaston also faces a charge of possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime and resisting arrest. Both have since been released from jail on $40,000 bond.

“We are extremely pleased to get these illegal drugs off of the street and get these individuals charged,” said Lancaster County Sheriff Barry Faile. “Given the amount of marijuana located, we believe these individuals to be major players in marijuana distribution.”
