Thanks to an employee family holiday party Tuesday night, Comporium Communications has collected nearly 400 toys as part of the WRHI and United Way of York County’s Toys for Happiness campaign.
Comporium’s Paul Kutz says the donations filled an entire van.
“I wish we could fill up two vans, but that’s a good start,” Kutz said.
“I challenge other businesses in the community to do likewise, and I know many do.
“That’s what makes this community great because we all pull together,” he said.
“Is it good for the children?” Kutz asked.
“This is definitely good for the children.”
Kutz says says since there are still dropoff boxes at the company’s stores, he expects to receive more toys for children who might not otherwise get a holiday gift.
